Q. Why would I want to become a registered user?
A. By registering, you'll be able to access all of the personalized features on the My CME page, including statistics about the courses you've taken, a calendar of upcoming events and more.

Q. What happens when I pass a test?
A. When you pass a test, you'll know right away. The number of correct answers will be displayed on the screen, along with your score. You will receive notification via e-mail that you've passed a specific test, and you'll also receive a certificate of credit online.

Q. What happens when I fail a test?
A. When you fail a test, you'll know right away. The number of correct answers will be displayed on the screen, along with your score. You'll receive notification via e-mail that you've failed a specific test, but you will NOT receive via regular mail a Notice of Failure.

Q. Do I have to login each time I visit the site? Is there an easier way?
A. No. When you go to the Login screen, you will see a check box labeled Remember Me that, when checked, will log you in automatically on return visits. You will never have to login again.

Q. What are the discussion forums for?
A. The Discussion Forum is used to discuss, debate or argue any topic related to the ophthalmology profession. Feel free to seek advice, or answer questions, from your colleagues.

Q. What is the calendar for on the MyCME page?
A. The calendar is a tool that will have a comprehensive list of upcoming continuing medical education events of interest to you. Just click on any highlighted day and you will see a list of events.

Q. What is the Average User Rating on the test introduction page?
A. That is the average rating that users have given that test after they have taken it. At the end of each test, you are able to rate it, 1 star being poor and 5 stars being great.

Q. What is the best browser to use when visiting the website?
A. We recommend that you use the most recent version of Microsoft Internet Explorer (5.5 or greater) or Netscape Navigator (6.1 or greater). The website will function under most of the different browsers, but some of the more advanced features (like Live Online Support) work best in the most recent versions.
